Dinosaur Trader started a Day Trading Virtual Office about a year ago. Since I came across his blog, I'd drop by every day after market close. As a day trader, at the end of each trading day, I'm very interested to know how other traders did that day.

Unfortunately, he decided to close the VO. It could be very stressful to report real PnL to the world at the end of each day, unless you never lose like some internet super traders. You could be more hesitant to get into positions or you could be more reluctant to take losses.

After some thinking, I decided to open my own VO. Based on DT's experience, I made some changes. First, I allow anonymous reporting. Second, I allow reporting trades only without PnL. Third, I made it easy for traders to report trades and for readers to view them. You can add trades without registering.. I find it useful to see other people's trades. Sometimes I could pick up a good stock for the next little while. Sometimes I'd get sparks for new ideas.

The VO is completely automated.

I participated in DT's VO for a while as "wincity". At the time I felt it might make me more active in trading my small accounts which I often didn't touch several days in a row. In the end, it didn't work out. I felt I got slightly more hesitant.

Because this is my VO, I have to join, yes? I use the name "1% a day" since it's my goal and also I believe in the possibility, especially with a small account around $30000. I was hoping that once I become more active with my small accounts, I'd publish real PnL for one and start a public experiment of the ideal. My new VO moved this ahead of schedule.

Before the VO has more traders, I'll throw in some fictional ones. If you see "!" at the end of a trader's name, then he's fictional. Anyone is welcome to update PnL for trader "Holly Cow!". His password is xyz.
